| Historical brick façade stays in place while the rest of the building is torn down Brickwork was ground out and re-pointed. A steel structure was then put in place. We then drilled through the mortar joints 2 feet on center epoxied stainless steel ties through the brickwork 6” extended at the back of the brick which is approximately 4” of shotcrete was applied on the back face. Two by six beams were sandwiched over top of the stainless steel, threaded rod, a washer and a nut were then installed. The two by six beams were then bolted into the structure. The original foundations were removed and then rebuilt for the new building.
